Frisco & Plano Branch Fundraises at Russell Creek Playground for the African Library Project on August 4th 2024

From 7:00-10:00PM, our volunteers worked diligently to set up, advertise, and clean up a three-item stand at Russel Creek Park. Volunteers cooperated to serve fresh-made boba milk tea, shaved ice, and cotton candy to help fundraise for the African Library Project. The project recognizes the importance of allowing less fortunate peoples to books and literature, and aligns with AYLUS’ mission to help our community and world. However, the project requires high fund-demands for trans-continental book shipments, so the Frisco & Plano branch has continued to work hard at their part of this impactful project.

Great work to all of the volunteers who help to change lives, book by book!
