On the evening of July 14, 2024, , the 3rd AYLUS robotics class was hosted in the Pearland public library with 5 students and 4 AYLUS teachers attending it. The students were split into 2 groups of 2 and 3 and were given a Spike Prime set to use. The teachers used a PowerPoint they made that taught about the 3 color sensors in the kit and 2 challenges. During the presentation, the students were shown a demonstration of each sensor. After it, the students made a driving base with all 3 sensors using their new knowledge about it and completed the 2 challenges. In conclusion, the event was a success as most students learned about the topics.
