The African Library Project is dedicated to providing gently used books to libraries in Africa. We are proud to say that this will be our 5th time donating books to the ALP. We have each organized the books we have collected individually, the amount ranging from 50-200. We have organized the books based on level of reading: PreK-1st grades, 2nd-4th, 5th-6th, and 7th-8th. Our group of AYLUS members have spent time organizing their collected books into these categories, diversifying our views on different books and reading levels while helping our community.
Volunteers:
Amelia Kuo (Event Leader): 50 books & 3 hours
Ruishu Zhang: 188 books & 4 hours
Alex Lin: 66 books & 3 hours
Andrew Wang: 77 books & 4 hours
Jasper Kuo: 50 books & 3 hours
Charlotte Chen: 150 books & 3 hours
