On July 10th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS helped their local food bank.
It was a hot day so members decided to stay inside. They made their way over to the dry foods area and started by making boxes. There were stacks of broken down boxes so members patiently taped each box up to use for packing canned food later. After finishing, members patiently waited for the food truck to deliver the canned foods. When it finally arrived, everyone cheered and immediately got to work. While unloading, members were asked to help in the fresh produce area so they split apart. In the fresh produce area, members packed boxes, sorted bread, and mopped the tables for cleanup. While working, members made sure to take water breaks accordingly.
