On July 7th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members helped local senior centers.
At Torrey Pines Senior Living: The volunteers started the morning with some light exercise, using pool noodles to stretch out their arms, legs, ankles, feet, and necks. Afterwards, the volunteers collected the noodles and passed out the daily chronicle. Reading the chronicle together, the residents then watched a video about luxury chocolates. The volunteers sat with the residents, conversing with and comforting them, as various videos on travel locations played in the background. As lunchtime approached, the volunteers took the residents to the dining room.

On July 7th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members played piano for the seniors.
Members greeted the seniors who were already waiting for them before setting up the piano. Members switched turns playing pieces after playing 3-4. The seniors sang along to the pieces that they knew. Members would talk to the seniors after they finished playing and even sang along with them for a few pieces. At the end, seniors wished the members well and bid them goodbye.
