AYLUS Syosset Members help at Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and Audubon Center 06/28/24

On Saturday June 28th 2024, AYLUS Syosset members helped Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and Audubon Center. The members helped in multiple ways, ways like, Collecting and Spreading out woodchips, Saving young tadpoles lives, and removing Duck Weed from their pond. Duck Weed takes up nitrogen and quickly multiplies if not removed and treated properly. The Duck Weed takes up the entire surface of the pond causing the tadpoles to die. The Woodchips help the terrain around it by preventing weeds and other unwanted plants to grow.
