On the early morning of Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, AYLUS Chapel Hill branch members Nicholas and Hongyan volunteered to assist Charles House by collecting flower donations from the local Trader Joe’s store. These flowers were delivered to Charles House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to eldercare and supporting individuals with dementia, at the Carol Woods Retirement Community. The volunteers are hopeful that the vibrant blooms will bring joy and enrichment to the lives of seniors. We continue to stay committed to enhancing the well-being of elders and look forward to future collaborations.
Volunteers who participated in this event are Nicholas Wang (1.5 hours) and Hongyan Wang (1.5 hours).
