On June 1st, 2024, the Pearland Branch showcased their unwavering commitment to inclusivity by actively participating in the SMILE Katy Inclusive Play & Learn event (#9) in Katy. Volunteers from AYLUS Pearland facilitated the attendance of special needs individuals from Pearland, ensuring they could join the festivities.
During the event, the volunteers engaged participants in a wide array of inclusive play and learning activities. They guided attendees through balloon twisting and playdough crafting, encouraged engagement in ring tossing, puzzles, parachute games, and swing ball. These dedicated efforts significantly enriched the overall experience for all attendees, creating a memorable and inclusive atmosphere.
