On May 25th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS volunteered at the STAT Horse Sanctuary.
Taking some time to find the sanctuary’s new location, the volunteers were taken on a tour around the facility to see all of its animals. They started with cleaning the pig pen, before moving on to some of the horse’s stalls. After clearing the horse stalls on one side of the facility and dumping the wheelbarrow at the new waste pile, the volunteers moved to the horses on the other side of the area. With more stalls to cover the volunteers took more time making sure the areas were cleaned of waste, taking a few trips to dump the waste they collected. With the facility cleaned the volunteers then bid goodbye to the animals.
