On 3/14/24, West Essex members organized the 2nd annual egg hunt for special needs families . On 3/12, members shopped at local stores including ShopRite, Dollar Tree and Five Below for easter eggs, candies, toy gifts and food supplies. Some members baked butter cookies, custard tart and muffins at home for the event. Members met earlier on 3/14 to fill the eggs, discuss event schedule and assign tasks.
In the afternoon, members hid eggs in the back yard, shadowed participate kids for their egg hunts. Members also played bubbles, balloon arts, face painting with participants. Our Pet on Duty group brought Seeing Eyes dogs to company with special needs kids. After egg hunt, members served pizza to special needs families.
