The 23rd Annual Auburn CityFest, one of Auburn’s favorite spring traditions, was held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Kiesel Park. AYLUS Auburn Branch hosted a non-profit booth to fundraise for the Dream Court tennis program. We offer 4 stations- the Happy Face Center for face painting/face tattoos, the Balloon Workshop for animal balloons, the Trinket Trove station for selling small items, and finally, we provided a free gift. We raised a total of $728 and all of the profits were donated to the Dream Court Auburn Chaper. We appreciate Auburn Parks and Recreation for providing us with a free booth, and we thoroughly enjoyed this outdoor activity.
Our members who participated in this activity are Ashlynne Au (5.5 hours), Annie Bao (8 hours), Will Bao (8 hours), and Victoria Choo (8 hours).
We also had two non-AYLUS volunteers who helped us through this event: Nicole Chen (4 hours) and Seoju Lee (8 hours).
