AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch Volunteers at TOYOTA ARENA on 03/17/2024
On March 17, 2024, AYLUS RC BRANCH saw the participation of 14 volunteers in the 11th fundraising event for the Building Bright Futures children’s program. This event, a part of our ongoing series, took place at our local TOYOTA ARENA during the Empire Stryker’s Ball Toss event season. Whenever there’s a game, we set up soccer-themed games and a ball sale booth at the entrance to raise funds for children in need, with all proceeds going towards promoting their academic and personal success.
Splitting into two groups for the day, one team managed the soccer-themed games from ticket sales to ball retrieval, as many families attend the games with their children, making these activities highly popular. Meanwhile, the other team handled the ball sale, meticulously packing bags of balls with varying quantities and prices ranging from $5 to $15. Both activities were well-received, and before we knew it, four hours had passed. We managed to raise over $500 through our collective efforts, and it’s truly exhilarating to see the impact we can make with our abilities in supporting children in need.
