AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch Volunteers at TOYOTA ARENA on 01/17/2024

On January 17, 2024, three volunteers from AYLUS RC BRANCH participated in the fifth fundraising event for the Building Bright Futures children’s program. These volunteers, returning for the second time, were motivated by the profound significance of the event and their desire to continue making a difference. The TOYOTA ARENA, our city’s largest professional stadium, served as the venue for this impactful initiative.

Throughout the Empire Stryker’s Ball Toss event season, our team has been stationed at the arena entrance, organizing soccer-themed gaming and ball-selling activities to raise funds for children in need. All proceeds generated from these activities are dedicated to promoting the academic and personal success of underprivileged children.

Volunteers were divided into two groups for the day’s activities. One group managed the soccer-themed gaming booth, overseeing ticket sales and ball retrieval. Given the popularity of soccer among families attending the games, this activity was met with enthusiastic participation. The other group handled the ball-selling activity, meticulously packaging bags of balls with varying quantities and prices, ranging from $5 to $15 per bag. Both activities were well-received, and before we knew it, four hours had flown by.

Through our collective efforts, we were thrilled to have raised over $300 at this event. The success of our fundraising endeavors served as a source of great excitement and fulfillment, underscoring the profound impact that can be achieved through our collective efforts. With our abilities and dedication, we are able to make a tangible difference in the lives of children in need.

As we continue to participate in such meaningful initiatives, we remain committed to our mission of promoting the welfare and success of children in our community. Our volunteers embody the spirit of compassion and altruism, and we look forward to future opportunities to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

The volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to this cause were Jingning Wu; Ryan Wang; Bryan Wang. Each volunteer contributed 4 hours.
