On February 16, the AYLUS Birmingham Branch members met at the Boutwell Auditorium in downtown Birmingham to prepare for the following day’s Lunar New Year festival. Members taped signs to the walls, arranged tables, chairs, and tablecloths, and set up the eight games to be played by event attendees. Other volunteers were trained on stage spotlight and microphone operation, as they would be managing them for performances during the festival.
