2024/4/14 AYLUS Dix Hills volunteers at Long Island Chinese School and assists students and teachers
AYLUS Dix Hills Branch worked as a teacher’s assistant, helping kids who were struggling to understand the lesson, making sure students were on task, watching the students actions, handling classwork/homework, and grading student’s work.
By doing various tasks to help, not only do students have a better and more efficient learning environment, teachers have an easier time teaching and educating students.
Additionally, volunteers attended cultural classes where there were various jobs depending on the class. For example, teaching chess moves in chess class or judging poetry.
