Supporting high school hackathons is as an excellent way to empower students to explore careers in STEM. We believe that hackathons can not only help students identify interests in technical fields such as programming and engineering, but can also help them express their creativity and build real-world solutions for the community.
On March 16th, AYLUS Main Line members participated in hackathon at Conestoga High School. The volunteers assisted with registering hackers, distributing t-shirts and snacks, and facilitating events such as game tournaments and coding workshops.
Volunteers: Mindy Wang, Ryan Zhang
Hackers: Emily Zou, Melissa Fan, Lily Jiang, Ryan Ye, Joe Zou
