On April 2nd, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members conducted a park cleanup.
Circling around the park, they began in the bathroom area, finding discarded plastics and papers as they went. As they rounded the park they also found straws, orange peels, and tissues scattered about. They examined the bushes next to the playground and sifted in the wood chips to find candy wrappers, pens, and other waste. Ending with the parking lot, they found a group of blueberries discarded underneath a car, carefully cleaning up the mess, before trashing their bags.
