The AYLUS Dix Hills Branch volunteers to recycle used batteries and printer cartridge at Staples. Volunteers spent a long time gathering used batteries and printer cartridge to properly recycle them, as they shouldn’t be thrown out with regular trash. They are not environmentally friendly, and recycling them is a better alternative to throwing them out. Volunteers researched on their negative effects and found that Staples was willing to properly recycle them. At Staples, volunteers gave their collected items to staff members for a proper disposal.
