On the sunny day of March 24th, three members and their families from the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch volunteered their time to clean up litter along the Bolin Creek Trail. As one of the primary walking and biking paths in Chapel Hill, Bolin Creek Trail sees heavy traffic year-round, leading to environmental degradation from human activities. Recognizing the potential dangers of littering, including pollution, disease spread, and harm to wildlife, our team came together for one and a half hours of collective effort. With determination and teamwork, we successfully removed a significant amount of litter and trash, contributing to the beautification and safety of our community. We are proud to have made a positive impact and are committed to fostering a cleaner, safer environment for all.
Volunteers who participated in this event are Andrew Zhao (1.5 hrs), Andrew Zhong (1.5 hrs), Nicholas Wang (1.5 hrs)
