On March 24th, a group of seven members from the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch worked together to spread joy to seniors in their community. They baked delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies in their own kitchens and generously donated them the local organization devoted to serving meals to seniors. Their wish is that these cookies will bring moments of joy and warmth to the seniors they serve.
Volunteers who participated in this event are Luna Chen (4 hrs), Andrew Zhong (6 hrs), Joann Wang (2 hrs), Owen Xie (6 hrs), Yichen Zhao (4 hrs), Ethan Li (2 hrs), Nicholas Wang (1.5 hours packing and delivery).
