AYLUS San Clemente Branch Host 1st Bottles and Cans Recycling Event in March 2024.
In today’s world, people are using more bottles and cans than ever which means that people are using more plastic than ever as well. By recycling these bottles and cans, it means that new products get created, there’s a reduction in energy use, and carbon emissions are curbed.
By collecting bottles and cans, then sent to local recycling centers, our members were able to make $32.58 in March. The money will be donated to the Rancho Mission Viejo Nature Reserve, which will help protect our local wildlife and environment.
Members who participated this event were: Elena Hsieh (1.5hrs), Laura Liu (1.5hrs), Edward Leigh (1.5hrs), Jasmine Zheng (1.5hrs), King Oung (1.5hrs), Miah Zhou(1.5hrs), Tylon Zhou (1.5hrs0, Shuqi Hu (1.5hrs).
