On 3/12/24, AYLUS Great Neck organized another tutoring session at the Great Neck Library Station Branch. From 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, our volunteers, Emma Ding, Cynthia Luo, and Steven Ni, worked with a middle school student from Great Neck South Middle school with her math and biology homework and answered any additional questions she had.

On March 13th, Aylus Great Neck hosted a tutor and a strategy game for kids. The activity started at 4: 30PM.
Today a new girl came to Aylus for a math and reading tutor. In the first 30 minutes Zixi teached her about addition and multiplication, then gave her some practice questions. In the remaining time they finished reading the first chapter of an English story and learnt some new vocabulary and pronunciation. Meanwhile another volunteer Emma Ding was playing the board game with a boy. We finished studying and playing games at around 4:30 pm.

On 3/16/24, AYLUS Great Neck held another tutoring session at the Great Neck Library Station Branch. From 4:30 pm to 6:00pm, our volunteers, Emma Ding and Kevin Zhang, worked with their respective students. Emma Ding helped a 3rd grade student prepare for the upcoming math state test by completing an old math state test. Kevin Zhang played chess with his student and taught him the fundamentals of chess and some simple strategies.
