In a concerted effort to revitalize the local environment, members of the Upper Manhattan Branch dedicated their time and energy to cleaning up Alley Pond Park on March 10, 2024. The focus of this community service event was on removing litter that had accumulated in the area, specifically targeting cans, bottles, and discarded towels. Through their diligent efforts, the park’s natural beauty has been restored, providing a cleaner and more welcoming space for the community to enjoy.
