Between the months March 2024, four AYLUS volunteers made pieces of art using numerous recycled objects and materials. They took recycled materials and garbage found at home such as plastic bottles, caps and containers, glass coke bottles, used paper, tinfoil, tissue boxes, and milk cartons and turned them into creative art projects that will be showcased in the AYLUS community art show for people to admire. The volunteering event proved to be a rewarding experience by encouraging creativity, showing that even things thrown away can be turned into something truly amazing, and also encouraging the community to use the three R’s, reduce, reuse, and recycle in order to preserve our environment.
