On March 9, 2024, AYLUS members attended the volunteer fair at Lindenhurst Memorial Library to explore collaboration opportunities. We engaged with various nonprofit organizations including Save the Great South Bay, Lindy Cares, and Operation Splash. Discussions revolved around potential partnerships with Lindy Cares events, a student-led volunteer group dedicated to reducing underage drinking and substance misuse, as well as exploring collaboration possibilities with Operation Splash to educate our members and schools about environmental issues. This event provided an avenue for our members to enhance their communication skills and discover numerous new collaboration opportunities.
