During this volunteer event, we have dedicated time to picking up trash in Russell Creek Park, Skaggs Elementary School, and Rice Middle School. Not only have we cleaned those locations, we have also cleaned the surrounding parking lots, creeks, lakesides, sidewalks and playgrounds during this volunteering event. Through this cleanup we have recognized the importance of making our environment and community one step cleaner for our peers and neighbors. By cleaning our environment, we help the residents, including ourselves by making the park and schools more enjoyable for all. Everyone can have a great time and cherish fond memories with friends and family with a clean park and other areas.
