Upper Manhattan Branch Hosts Park Clean-Up at Crocheron Park on March 3, 2024

On March 3, 2024, the Upper Manhattan Branch organized a park clean-up event at Crocheron Park, one of the many NYC parks on the shores of Little Neck Bay. The event aimed to enhance the park’s aesthetics and provide a cleaner, safer environment for visitors to enjoy. A team of dedicated volunteers, led by the branch, came together to pick up trash left behind by park visitors.

Crocheron Park, with its scenic views and ample walking trails, is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. However, the park has occasionally been the victim of littering, which mars its natural beauty. The clean-up event was a timely reminder of the importance of preserving our public spaces and respecting the environment.

During the event, volunteers armed with gloves and trash bags worked diligently to collect discarded items such as plastic bottles, paper wrappers, and other debris.
