On Sunday, February 25, Murrieta AYLUS members lended a hand to local senior centers.
At Torrey Pines Senior Living: The volunteers began with helping the residents stretch and work out, before taking away the pool noodles and preparing the snack. They poured orange juice and water and spooned peaches for the residents, passing them around before picking up the remaining cups and bowls. The volunteers played on the piano for the residents before taking them outside for their morning walks, then took the residents in for their lunch.

On February 25th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members helped their local senior center
At the ice cream parlor, members prepared all the materials needed. They interacted with the seniors and asked about their interests. In the library, members took song requests from seniors and played some old pieces that the seniors would know. Members mainly focused on jazz pieces this time and look forward to going back next week.
