The AYLUS Bellaire Branch volunteered at Ed White Elementary school in Houston, Texas on February 17th, 2024, from 9am to 12pm.
ED White Elementary School is situated in a diverse neighborhood and hosts a longstanding program dedicated to supporting students from different backgrounds in Math or Reading. Today the Aylus volunteers were given the opportunity to tutor small groups of fifth-grade students about how to solve multiplication and division. Through practice the students improved their accuracy and speed solving the problems.
There were five volunteers that participated in the volunteer activity (total 3 hours): Ryan Li, Haowen Zhu, Zijian Wang, Victoria Wang and Nicholas Zhou.
