On Saturday, February 17, Murrieta AYLUS members participated in the A Brush with Kindness program.
The volunteers began the morning with taping off the areas of the house that were made of vinyl, covering the areas with a layer of paper on top. They found some areas of the house were too wet to tape off due to the fog and left them for later in the day. After a quick demonstration, the volunteers split areas of the house to cover, catching drips and doing multiple coats to ensure full coverage. After the sides and front of the house were done, the volunteers took a break before taping off and covering the back of the home, before doing a quick one over of the whole house. After finishing, the volunteers scrubbed the paint off their hands and bid goodbye to the site.
