On February 11th 2024, AYLUS members had a beach cleanup in the local park. They circled the upper park, picking up all sorts of trash such as tissues, plastic, and more. Then, they made their way to the train tracks where they found little pieces of plastic scattered around. They went down to the beach where they found paper cups and a block of wood. Lastly, they went around the park one more time where they were lucky enough to find an aluminum can that was mostly still intact. They then deposited everything in the local trash can, making sure that nothing fell down in the process.
