On February 3, 2024, AYLUS collaborated with the Girl Scouts and Cal Martial Hearts to host the 3rd Kids Flea Market. The market featured a total of 30 sites, with AYLUS occupying two of them. We earned a total of $54 including the $10 per site fee. Volunteers diligently set up our sites and sold a variety of items including books, puzzles, clothes, art goods, and additionally offered face painting. All proceeds from the flea market will be utilized to purchase ECO books for donation to local schools.
In addition, on the day before the event, four AYLUS volunteers assisted in cleaning the parking lot and marking out the sale sites.
The following four members participated on Feb. 02 and with 2.0 volunteer hour for each volunteer:
Felicity Chu, Brianna Chu, Maxwell Yang, and Bruce Xiao.
The following 10 members participated in the Kids Flea Market and with 3.5 volunteer hour for each volunteer:
Bruce Xiao, Sofie Duan, Jessica Jiang, Felicity Chu, Brianna Chu, Maxwell Yang, Andrew Zhou, Gavin Zheng, Angela Li, and Lauren Kan.
