AYLUS Bellaire Branch members volunteered at Ed White Elementary School from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
The main focus of the program is to assist children that come from low-income families with reading and math. Members of AYLUS tutored kids on topics, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and
division. Also, some volunteers helped with reading comprehension. As a result, students were able to improve speed and accuracy in solving various problems.
3 volunteers participated in this program (3 hours, 9am – 12pm): Victoria Wang, Zijian Wang and
Ryan Li.
