The AYLUS Birmingham Branch partnered with Grace Klein, an organization dedicated to sharing resources for the purpose of building relationships to ignite restoration of individuals, families, and communities. Grace Klein holds drive-thru sites to fight food insecurities and provides a variety of other resources for families, including baby products as well as school supplies for children. The organization also has community homes, where it hosts individuals in need of a place to stay and provides resources for them to thrive.
On October 21, Birmingham Branch members helped with the upkeep of one of the Grace Klein hubs by cleaning the rooms, tidying the kitchen, and organizing food. Volunteers also helped bring donated food into the storage rooms and sorted them by type.
