On January 21st 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members lended a hand to local senior centers.
At Torrey Pines Senior Living: The volunteers led the residents through a light exercise before preparing a snack. They poured cranberry juice or water, passed out yoghurt, and fed some of the residents who couldn’t eat or drink on their own. After the cups were collected, the volunteers played trivia with the residents, before putting on some light music. Afterwards, the residents were taken to the dining hall for lunch.

On January 21st, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members volunteered at their local senior center.
At the ice cream parlor, members started to set up, bringing out the napkins, spoons, cups, toppings, and the ice cream scooper. Then they patiently waited for people to come in. In the library, members played lots of jazz pieces such as Fly Me to the Moon and more. In between, members asked the seniors for any recommendations for pieces they liked.
