On Monday, January 15, 2024, Martin Luther King Jr day, some AYLUS members went to CVS Pharmacy to collect books. There were books for all ages like dictionaries for older kids to learn more words, and vocabulary books for kindergartners. The manager named Amy Algo, was very supportive and helped us put the donation box inside of her store for people to see the donation bin. There weren’t as many books as last time, but every single book brought us closer to our goal. Thank you to everyone who donated books to support us in our Africa library book drive! We would like to thank everyone who is helping us reach this goal. Every little book is another step towards providing one more library for children in Africa.
