On January 5th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members helped out with the Little Garden of Hope Project. After greeting the staff of Jacob’s House, the members headed to the garden. They split into different groups, each taking on a different task. Some worked on manually watering each bed and others focused on weeding. After they finished with their tasks, the members worked together on clearing two beds on the side of leaves and loosening the dirt, after which they planted succulents in. Finally, the members cleaned up and placed some peppers they had harvested inside the house for guests to use.
