Edmond branch member Julia Chen is working with the Southwest OKC Pioneer Library in creating a children’s Scratch coding program that will be presented next summer. She is required to practice presenting her coding program and receiving advice from the audience. She practiced presenting her coding program in front of her family, recorded the presentation to rewatch for presentation skill improvement, and received advice on explaining coding concepts to kids. The program will be an hour long but ran quickly since her family is familiar with programming and completed the coding challenges quickly.
