San Diego Branch Donated Canned Foods for Interfaith Community Services on November 20th, 2023

On Nov 20th, 2023, AYLUS San Diego Branch donated canned foods to Interfaith Community Services as a special Thanksgiving event.

Interfaith Community Services, founded in 1979, is a nonprofit based in San Diego, CA. The organization provides food, housing, employment, treatment and other emergency resources for local people in crisis.  Food is our most basic human need, yet thousands of residents in North San Diego County are food insecure. Each day at Interfaith sack lunches are distributed to people as needed and available. Interfaith distributes 200+ sack lunches daily.

AYLUS San Diego Branch set up a special Thanksgiving event and donated almost 100 cans of foods.  The following students partcipated in this events:

Eric Li and Alexander Backues (2 hrs, including delivery)

The following students received 1 hour of service hours.
