Murrieta AYLUS Helps Local Senior Center (11/19/23)
On July 23rd, 2023, Murrieta AYLUS members helped out their local senior center, Atria Park of Vintage Hills. After signing in at the front desk, the members helped serve ice cream at the senior center’s ice cream parlor for the weekly Ice Cream Social. While a member served ice cream, another played piano for the seniors in the library. In the library, members did some homework the week before and prepared some pieces to play that the seniors would know. Some pieces were The Autumn Leaves, Sweet Caroline, My Way, and more.
After Ice Cream Social ended, members closed the tubs of ice cream and cleaned up the work area. They signed out and bid the staff goodbye before leaving.
