Reported by Adora Xiao :
On Monday, November 20, Murrieta AYLUS members lended a hand to the Community Mission of Hope.
The day began with unloading the black boxes designed to hold produce. The boxes were broken down and transported to the sink, where volunteers worked to then scrub them down. Although they started with taking turns scrubbing and rinsing in the sink, they found the pressure washer was faster. While some worked to scrub the dirty crates, others brought the crates to the people rinsing them off. After rinsing, the crates were set on racks to dry in the sun. The volunteers took turns taking breaks and working on different parts, finishing washing all of the crates. They then broke the crates back down and dried them off for storing. In between washing some of the volunteers got the chance to learn how to operate a pallet jack.
