On 11/18/2023, the Syosset AYLUS members taught certain levels of violin to students with ages ranging from 4 to 9. For beginner-leveled students, they were taught how to read notes from music sheets in treble clef. They were then also taught which notes were which on the violin. The intermediate-leveled students played G-Major scale along with the teacher, while also reviewing other basic violin skills such as ties and spicatto. The older students, with their levels slightly higher, were taught songs in Suzuki Violin Book 1. They also practiced playing open string with full bow and intonation.
