On 11/1/2023, Aylus Great Neck hosted its sixth weekly tutoring session for nearby students.
Our volunteers Ruiqi Liu, Katie Yang, Siying Chen, and Kalli Zhu helped a few different students today.
We first had a student who had some math homework to do, but did not need much help with it. Thus, we tried to enrich his learning through interesting but difficult puzzles and a rubik’s cube.
We also had a student who wanted to learn about the course Algebra I. Luckily, Ruiqi brought a book containing much of the course material, and we went over the exercises in the book for the student.
Finally, we had a student who wanted to go over her Algebra II test and discuss what she got wrong. Our tutors helped her understand what had gone wrong during the test.
By 6:00PM, we finished up and said goodbye to our students.
