On October 29th, 2023, The Roslyn AYLUS branch partnered with AHRC walk, as scheduled from 8:00 to 12:00 PM.
We were given a section to make a Pumpkin Patch with stickers for decorations at the AHRC walk at Eisenhower Park. We were assigned to take out the pumpkins from the containers on the truck and place them all in a Pumpkin Patch. We also set up a station where there were sticker designs that could be placed on these pumpkins. We helped hand out pumpkins to everyone and helped them choose the one that they wanted. There were many different designs for every to choose from and we helped them choose the one that they wanted. We also helped with putting the designs on the pumpkins. In the end, we were able to hand out about 100-200 pumpkins.
