On October 21st, 2023, volunteers from AYLUS Cheshire Branch volunteered at the local Yellow House. The Yellow House is a non-profit organization that is part of Cheshire’s town services. The Yellow House hosts a daycare for children, this one being a focus on youth literacy. Volunteers did 1-on-1 reading and gave assistance to the kids to make their experience at the Yellow House more fun and engaging.
