On Sunday, October 15, Murrieta AYLUS members conducted a beach cleanup.
Starting around the park area, they found miscellaneous plastic pieces, and some stray cans from different parties. Crossing over and down to the shore, they found more smaller strips of plastic and some stray wrappers more many snacks. Around the parking lot adjacent to the shore the volunteers found more plastic pieces and some discarded tissues. Rounding back up to the park area they checked under the bushes and found more pieces of trash, before throwing away their bags.
