On Sunday, October 8th, volunteers from the AYLUS Columbus Branch returned to Senior Star at the Dublin Retirement Village, performing for the first time after a summer-long hiatus. From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., volunteers played music for the senior residents on the piano, saxophone, and violin, including pieces written for ensemble instruments. Volunteers played a variety of classical and popular music. Turnout for the performance was excellent, and the volunteers were received with great enthusiasm. A few residents also suggested that we create a program to introduce our pieces, which we hope to implement in the future. We continue to share our love and talent for music with their community.
