On September 29, the Syosset AYLUS members hosted a violin lesson with 6 students. The students were split by level groups. The higher leveled students reviewed some Suzuki Book 1 pieces. Adjustments to bow hold, left hand posture, and overall standing posture were made when necessary. Beginner leveled students were taught basic notes in first position on all four strings. They were taught to play open strings with either full bow or the lower half bow and upper half bow.
