Initially, we contacted the TMMTD flea market back in April 2023 and asked them if they would waive the $75 vendor fee for our non-profit organization. Then we asked if they could waive part of the vendor fee and they refused. However, with a $75 three-day vendor fee, we thought it was still a pretty good deal. We emailed them our interests and filled out the vendor application online. With such a bustling place as the flea market, AYLUS saw an opportunity to sell our handmade gemstone bracelets and distribute CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) and All of Us (https://allofus.nih.gov/) flyers there! Third Monday McKinney Trade Days (TMMTD) flea market provided the opportunity, not only for us, to sell all sorts of gemstone bracelets and many donated items to a large and interested public. We prepared the price list and ballon animals the day before the event. AYLUS sold, of course, lots of bracelets and balloon animals at the flea market. The market had a huge flow of almost 10,000 people. Since we were next to four food trucks our visitor rate was pretty impressive. The flea market event was a huge success! We sold lots of bracelets to many customers for our fundraising. We spread the AYLUS spirit to the local communities of McKinney. Thank you to everyone who attended.
