On September 2nd, 2023, Murrieta AYLUS members went to their local park to clean up.Members started with the parking lot, making sure to look in the bushes for any hidden trash. Then they split into two groups with one group cleaning the right half of the park and the other cleaning the left half. Then, members met on the lawn and began looking for trash there. Members found lots of broken water balloons scattered across the grass and took their time cleaning it up, careful not to miss any. Members also found discarded candy wrappers, an empty box, pencils, some food wrappers, and more. After, members looked around the playground and in the bushes before discarding of their trash.
